MDF is essentially made of fine softwood fibres that are combined with a binder and pressed into boards. Thanks to the board's homogeneous structure, it displays uniform swelling properties and consistent dimensional stability. Compared to solid wood skirting, MDF skirting is much more flexible and especially suited for uneven walls.
