Supplied as a complete element
Smoke doors are subject to high requirements; the crucial point of the functionality of the smoke door is the interaction between all components. Therefore, smoke proof doors are working only with the actual audited product combination, including all fittings, delivered as a whole element with a test certificate (ABP).

Automatic closing
A smoke door must be self-closing. A soft-closing mechanism is a door closer with hydraulic damping, which is fitted with a bolt hole in the door leaf. All glass designs of Light & Harmony are available as certified function doors and made to measure - for every need and any request. In combination with the glass hardware, we can offer countless possibilities to combine unique glass designs with functionality.

Additional soundproofing feature
With the smoke protective glass door, the requirements for sound insulation can be met in accordance with DIN 4109. This corresponds to the sound insulation class 1.

Drop-down threshold mechanism
The drop-down threshold "sound-Ex" is an automatic door seal. The sealing profile seals the door when closed by pressing it down on the floor. For your soundproof doors, you can choose between two drop down threshold mechanisms, both being available in aluminium F1 finish or similar stainless steel finish.
