Custom-made glass design for soundproof wall partition
This soundproof partition wall was created especially for our client to meet the clear wall opening dimensions of the 2 offices and to phonicly isolate the offices. This project was a challenge for Doors4UK team because of the bespoke glass design and the made-to-measure dimensions of the wall opening. The client chose a bespoke pattern for both, the fixed side panel and the hinged door. The design consists of a frosted pattern in the middle of the clear glass with bespoke 'plus' and 'minus' symbols. The clear wall opening dimensions of these offices were 2440mm in width and 2560mm in height. The frame used for this project was a block frame without architrave and with a white painted RAL9010 finish. For this door to be soundproof we had to add a drop-down threshold that was fitted under the door. This mechanism activates when the door is in the closing position. It goes into the flooring and no air is going in or out of the room.
Even if this project was a bespoke one from the beginning, Doors4UK team met our client's expectations and the project was a real success for both of us.
